• 4.0 out of 5 stars from Cocotelle -- Overall good for grasping main points, but a handful of topics not well written/presented : This book covers the biggest points of every major topic well. It’s succinct and generally well organized. I took off a star for two reasons. First, some subjects like Con Law and Property, have a few pages that don’t have the organized logical order of an outline. Those topics I find harder to connect to the bigger picture. Second, the language needs to be simplified so that’s it’s easier to read. There are a ton of run on sentences - far too many for what’s supposed to be just an “outline,” which are complicated by the use of big words (For ex, in my opinion, “...may obviate the need...” is an unnecessarily fancy way to say “eliminated” or “removed” the need). Great coverage of the topics and distinctions are made between similar concepts. Much better prepared for the exam. My roommate used the book last year with high praise. He passed and credits this book with his results. I feel prepared from suing this book. Would recommend it to anyone actively preparing for the bar or to prepared for exams during law school. Each subject has been reduced to around 40 pages. It’s clear, concise, and easy to understand. It also explains the law according to past MBE test questions. This book also gives examples of the law in different scenarios and past test questions phrasing to help you prepare. ( Reviewed in the United States on February 9, 2019 )

The text was easy to understand and had sufficient detail without extraneous content. It covered all the important concepts. A few of my classmates had the book and we formed a study group that met every other day to prepare for the big day. The book really helped us organize the material and offered meaningful content that helped us get ready for the bar exam. Great results for each of use. Yes, law school is behind us... My roommate from last year used the book for the bar (she passed) and she recommended it to me. I have a solid grasp on important concepts after using this book. And as a second-time bar taker, I think this book is useful as a supplement, but not when you haven't already had the fundamental knowledge of the subjects. The "Real Property" part in this book is particularly underexplained--it just throws notes at you without explaining the terms or concepts first.
